INNOVATE Dance film showcase
A premier event celebrating the intersection of dance and film.
Each year, Innovate invites artists to pitch short dance film concepts. A selected group is then commissioned to create their films which leads to a premiere screening, followed by an awards presentation recognizing outstanding work.
Last year, we proudly introduced a Selection Committee to present awards recognizing the outstanding artists of the evening. Among the presenters were Emmy-nominated choreographers Jeff Mortensen and Louise Hradsky, who took the stage to present their award.
